The Senior Bio Processing Scientist for Leica Biosystems is responsible for delivering Tissue-culture production (TCP) related manufacturing in line with customer needs. This position is part of the TCP department located in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and will be an onsite role. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives. You will be a part of the TCP team and report to the Senior TCP Supervisor responsible for the production and delivery of antibody products. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Lead inventory and Kanban management for TCP Actively maintain quality standards in line with the principles of cGMP Use PSP thinking, 5 whys and Non-conformance reporting Co-lead departmental projects as required The essential requirements of the job include: A relevant scientific qualification (BSc/MSc) in a related subject. Relevant experience of working in a FMCG environment or other Tissue-culture based environment Demonstrated experience of working within the constraints of a regulated industry preferably experience of FDA inspection processes and GMP Join our winning team today.
