Taking responsibility for developing and delivering a key element of the organisation's data management system. Providing input into the development of IT Security policies, developing underlying procedures and monitoring their implementation. Analysing and evaluating the feasibility of proposals for complex products/services. Managing and delivering required outcomes for a portfolio of projects while reporting to senior colleagues. Identifying and evaluating complex solutions against a range of criteria to meet business needs. Setting longer-term objectives and implementing performance management systems. Develop training courses to improve performance and meet business requirements. Analyse key themes using data from a wide range of sources. Implement formal development frameworks for a substantial department. Initiate and implement new business practices. Manage relationships with key internal customers. Engage with senior business leaders to understand long-term strategic challenges. Recommend authoritative technical and/or professional solutions. About you
Experience in GCP/cloud transformation projects (Cloud Postgres SQL, Cloud SQL, Big Query, Cloud Spanner). Familiarity with Kafka and related technologies. Knowledge of DevOps principles and experience with tools such as Docker, Cloud, Jenkins, Splunk. What you'd get in return
