A construction company is currently recruiting an Architect to work in their London office & project sites in the UK. In this role, you will be responsible for working on office retrofit and showroom-fitout projects, preparing construction drawings, conducting site visits, collaborating with specialists, and managing site coordination. The ideal candidate should have ARB registration, experience in showroom and office renovations, strong understanding of UK building regulations, and proficiency with Autocad and Adobe. Ref: MI46184

TYPE: 1 year fixed term contract - with 6-month probationary period (There is potential for extension) WORKING HOURS: 9:00 - 17:00 SALARY: £36,500 - depending on experience START: ASAP LOCATION: London

Architect Main Responsibilities: ● Preparing construction drawings ● Conducting site visits to monitor progress ● Collaborating with specialists, suppliers and sub-contractors ● Coordinating with structural engineer and mechanical and electrical engineer ● Manage site coordination on a day-to-day basis ● Support the construction team in terms of compliance with the Building Regulations and CDM ● Preparing as-built drawings

Architect Ideal Candidate: ● ARB registration ● A newly registered architect (less than one year) with experience in showroom renovations and existing office renovation ● Strong understanding of UK building regulations ● Demonstrate understanding of health and safety on site ● Familiarity with BIM ● Proficiency with Autocad and Adobe products ● Business level fluency in English
