rotations. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to take part in 6 month rotations in the following specialties across various hospital sites within the Trust, including the Royal London Hospital (major trauma centre), Whipps Cross University Hospital, Newham University Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital (specialist tertiary centre): The rotations on offer include: Medicine, Respiratory, Oncology, Stroke, Neurosurgery, Older People Services, Trauma, Orthopedics, Surgery, Vascular & Amputees, Cardio-Respiratory, Accident & Emergency. You will be working in well-established and supportive therapy teams who offer structured supervision and appraisals in an inclusive and welcoming environment. We have a strong focus on teaching and professional development, including protected CPD time and a Band 5 OT foundation training programme offered across all sites. Main duties of the job

To work as an autonomously provide high quality occupational therapy interventions to a wide variety of patients including the assessment and treatment of patients, provision of individual and group education and treatment sessions, provision of assistive devices(orthotics and prosthetics) and equipment and minor home adaptations in a wide varietyof settings including hospital wards, outpatient departments and the patients home. Working in a number of specialties across Barts Health NHS Trust including respiratory and critical care, acute admissions unit, neurosciences and stroke, trauma and orthopaedics, cancer services and hand therapy.
