Key Responsibilities
Perform detailed reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial standards. Prepare and present monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flows. Provide insightful variance analysis and recommendations for strategic decision-making. Support external audits with robust documentation and responses to queries. Collaborate with departmental managers to create and monitor budgets. Identify and implement process improvements using the new accounting system. Contribute to forecasts and financial models to support growth strategies. Requirements
A recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA). Proven experience in producing management accounts within a finance department. Strong reconciliation experience. Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and familiarity with accounting systems. Exceptional attention to detail and an ability to manage large datasets. Confident in challenging information and obtaining clear explanations. Strong problem-solving skills and an adaptable, proactive mindset.
