About the role:
The University of Central Lancashire based in Preston wishes to recruit an enthusiastic and dynamic Management Accountant to join the Financial Services Team. The role is to produce the University’s Partnership related income budgets, quarterly forecasts and reporting packs and to complete all appropriate monthly management accounts and year-end adjustments.
Working in tandem with the university’s partnerships teams, the post holder will build relationships and provide outstanding financial support to partner colleges through budget setting, strategic planning & review, and operational delivery.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced developing role, enhancing the financial support provided by Financial Services to assist the ongoing growth and development of UCLan.
About you:
The position will draw on the successful candidate’s previous experience of providing management accounting reporting and analysis to both finance and non-finance managers. To build trusted relationships to ensure corporate financial strategies are aligned with Budget Holder delivery plans.
The successful candidate will be part qualified working towards a professional accountancy body membership (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent) and have advanced Excel skills and experience of Power BI / Dashboard reporting.
