Reporting to the Assistant Principal - Infrastructure & Experience, you will lead a multidisciplinary team across the Student Services functions:

As Head of Student Experience, your key responsibilities will include collaboration with the above specialist teams and close partnerships with cross-college colleagues and external partners to ensure effective delivery, guidance, and support is available to all students.

You will continue to sustain strong links with external partnerships such as Skills Development Scotland (SDS), Fife Council, schools, and community services in relation to improving transitions, support for learning, and pathways to learning and employability.

Working with the Assistant Principal, you will explore and take forward strategic projects and relevant business cases for improving and enhancing student support and initiatives, developing strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the College to ensure a holistic approach to improve the overall student experience.

You will support in the caseload of Legal Order applicants, completing Risk Assessments and liaising with both Social Work Criminal Justice teams and Police Scotland regarding individuals of concern.

Qualifications and Experience - what we're looking for:

Educated to degree level or with demonstrable relevant professional experience at SCQF level 9 or above.

Experience of effective learner support methodologies.

Experience of community learning.

Proven record of evaluative ability, to recognise areas for improvement and plan for excellence.

Proven record of effective budget management achieving financial targets and effective use of resources.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.
