Qualification
NVQ L3 or Equivalent Experience Level 2 Safeguarding Knowledge and experience of working with individuals with a history of substance misuse Experience of working in a recovery-oriented role or setting Skills and Abilities
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with clients, their families, carers and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS. Demonstrate an ability to liaise with other agencies and carers involved. Competent using computers and keyboards for entering personally generated data, generating and responding to emails, conducting web searches, storing data and retrieving data, producing reports etc. Evidence of interest in and ability to contribute to service development. Demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the needs and difficulties of substance misuse clients. Demonstrate an understanding and experience of the assessment of risk and the evaluation of care interventions. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions. £35,964 to £43,780 a year including Inner London HCAS.
