This position has a key clinical leadership and management role, championing and driving initiatives within the CF and bronchiectasis teams. Clinically the post holder will support and manage Physiotherapists and exercise physiologists and work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team, including dieticians, nurses and respiratory consultants. Their clinical work will enable their team to deliver diagnostic and clinical care to CF and bronchiectasis patients, providing expert advice on complex clinical issues. About us

Clinical experience of a wide range of respiratory specialities which includes adult Cystic Fibrosis or Non-CF Bronchiectasis Expert knowledge of managing patients requiring Non-invasive ventilation, both acutely and for domiciliary use Experience of managing senior and junior staff Operational management in a complex environment Successfully leading and implementing service improvement and change projects. Working across and leading Trust wide projects Ability to understand complex issues, problem solve and propose solutions Experience of managing a budget Experience at leading geographically dispersed teams Experience of managing a research project Skills
Fluent in the use of MS Office applications Demonstrates strong leadership skills Good analytical & organisational ability Understanding of the legal responsibilities of the profession Ability to identify and manage risks to patients in environments which may be highly distressing, antagonistic, open to aggression and/or unpleasant to self, patients and others.
