We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Governor to join our team at Hillmead Primary School.
Hillmead School is a successful one form entry primary school in Bishop’s Stortford with a highly dedicated and motivated team of staff. Governors at the school work closely with the senior leadership team to support and challenge, aiming to maximise opportunities for all our pupils to learn, thrive and get the most out of school life.
Becoming a school governor is a rewarding experience and will allow you to use your skills to have a positive impact on the education of the children in the school. You may take on different challenges as you work as part of a well-established Governing Board.
We would welcome applications from any background, if you are prepared to take on the commitment of the role. Meetings are held each half term in the evenings and there is some expectation to be able to attend meetings during the day. Full training will be provided.
