Experience
Substantial post-qualification experience in the field of mental health crisis. Experience of working in a multidisciplinary mental health team. Previous experience of working autonomously. Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment and ensuring culturally sensitive nursing practice. Extensive experience of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care. Essential experience of writing concise and clear clinical reports. Experience of contributing to the development of new services, preferably in mental health. Experience of leadership roles or demonstrating leadership qualities. Experience of leading quality improvement work. Education/ Qualification/ Training
Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Social Worker. Current Professional Registration. Mentorship Preparation or equivalent. Recognized post-registration training. CBT and/or brief intervention/solution-focused therapy and/or motivational interviewing or willingness to undertake. Risk assessment and management training or willingness to undertake. Evidence of continual professional development. Knowledge and Skills
