The Ward Clerk will give efficient clerical assistance to the Emergency Quadrant. The provision of an efficient clerical service is essential to ensure the speedy admission, discharge, and transfer of patients. By the nature of the duties, the Ward Clerk will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and will be expected to deal with patients and relatives with courtesy and discretion at all times. The Ward Clerk is responsible to the Ward Managers in providing an efficient clerical service across the Emergency Quadrant.
