Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager

(internally known as Financial Reporting and Planning Manager) to join our Finance team. This is a hybrid role, where you can blend working from home, with office presence in our central Leeds office once a week. About the role

As Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you will: Be an SME and focus on the income side of the business, playing a key role in the construction of our financial plans and the monthly management reporting of performance against those plans. You’ll deliver insightful and value-adding analysis, enabling the continued and future success of the business, alongside helping to review and enhance our data and modelling capabilities.

Build great relationships with senior stakeholders and work closely with them to proactively identify threats and opportunities for YBS with a view to optimising financial performance.

Away from the technical elements of the role, you’ll also play an important role in the oversight and development of Assistant Accountants within the team. You’ll provide advice, guidance and learning opportunities helping them be the best they can be.

About you

You will: Be a qualified accountant with proven financial services experience.

Be analytical and skilled at drawing key insights from data with experience of developing a wide range of advanced analysis techniques.

Have some experience in financial planning and be able to combine this with a commitment to your own learning and continuous development.

Enjoy a dynamic workload as well as engaging and influencing a wide range of stakeholders, with the ability to influence and effectively communicate technical and complex information.
