We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Recruitment Adviser to assist in the provision of a high quality service for the recruitment of doctors for the Trust. You will be the first point of contact for the Trust in many instances, and as such will be expected to maintain high standards of courtesy, discretion and confidentiality at all times. Main duties of the job

The Medical Staffing team is a busy and dynamic team who are experts in managing the medical workforce. You will be responsible for the recruitment process from start to finish. This involves the administration, advice and support to Medical Staff on recruitment procedures and associated HR processes. You will attend and advise the interview panel at interviews and undertake all required pre-employment check processes. As part of this role, you have the option to work from home two days per week, with three days office based. The working from home days are set by the department. Job responsibilities

Qualifications

Educated to 'A' Level or equivalent. Able to demonstrate numeracy and literacy skills. CIPD qualification or an interest in CIPD or HR module training. Experience

Previous administration experience in a similar complex environment. Evidence of achieving work of an accurate standard. Experience of using Microsoft Office software. Previous recruitment/HR experience and/or Medical Staffing experience. Previous NHS experience. Experience of NHS Jobs/TRAC. Knowledge

Understanding of confidentiality. Understanding of meeting the needs of our customer. Understanding of providing a front of house service. Understanding of pre-employment check requirements in line with NHS and other relevant national regulations. Understanding of doctors career pathway and associated recruitment cycles. Skills

Proof reading skills. Organisational skills/ability to prioritise. Able to communicate at all levels. Ability to act on own initiative. Methodical, with the ability to pay attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines. Customer care skills, both written and verbal. Ability to deal with complaints from customers. Ability to store and safeguard confidential documents. Ability to follow processes to enable standard work tasks to be completed. Able to receive and refer complaints. Able to understand recruitment IT systems and collate data for reporting. Able to investigate complaints from customers. Able to understand and deal with complex recruitment requirements in relation to DBS and Immigration processes. Additional Requirements
