PR and Communications Manager role in a prestigious law firm.
London-based with hybrid working. Competitive salary. This respected London law firm, with an international client base, is looking for a PR Manager to join, reporting into the BD Director and leading on the firm’s PR and Corporate Communications. The role will work alongside a Brand/Marketing Lead and the Internal Comms Lead, as well as the wider BD team. The role will advise Partners and Lawyers on strategic external comms and media opportunities and will be supported by / line manage a PR Executive. The PR Manager will:
Draft and manage key corporate messages, such as financial reports, Partner announcements and wider firm news; Manage media engagement and relationships across national, legal and trade press; Manage the firm’s awards programme; Work with practice heads to develop strategic profile-raising plans; Develop media training for Partners; Carry out media monitoring; Manage and develop the PR Executive in the team. The role would suit an experienced PR Manager, ideally from legal or professional services, who is looking for a role where they can take on more strategic ownership. Alternatively, the role would also suit someone from a PR agency who has worked with relevant clients in the legal space. Experiencing managing press relationships is vital.
