The

Scientist, Quality Control

for Leica Biosystems is responsible for performing duties such as: Utilizing IHC/ISH experience and knowledge to ensure that QC tests show product performance to specification.

Incoming Quality Control inspections, assisting with the acquisition and assessment of incoming tissue, and assisting with QC improvement implementation.

Quality Control Manager

responsible for: QC Scoring Acceptance

Raw material Incoming Quality Assessment

Assessment of Incoming Tissue

Working in alignment with Good Manufacturing Practices and in accordance with the Human Tissue Authority Policy at all times.

Quality Control Administration.

Support Batch Sample Inventory.

5S & Daily Management.

Effectively use Danaher Business System (DBS) tools to drive continuous improvement.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Identify issues that arise in QC in relation to products and to be able to investigate and resolve problems as they arise in a timely manner.

Collaborate with Technical Services, Production, and R&D teams to investigate non-conforming products.

Process Non-Conformance Investigations/CAPA/Quality Document Changes.

Support Batch Sample Inventory.

5S & Daily Management.

Preferred Qualifications

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Work experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance environment.

Experience of working to a recognised Quality Management System (e.g. ISO13485) and following quality procedures including Good Document Practice.

Histology or immunohistochemistry experience including Microtomy and/or Microscopy.
