Key Responsibilities: Lead technical processes during the pre-construction phase. Develop and implement technical strategies and deliverables plans. Identify, manage, and mitigate technical risks on projects. Ensure designs meet regulatory and technical standards (e.g., CDM, Building Safety Act). Coordinate and communicate design requirements with all stakeholders. Manage consultant deliverables to align with project goals and budgets. Support sustainability objectives, including Net Zero targets. Oversee the use of digital tools and technologies to enhance project delivery. The Person We’re looking for someone who has: A BEng or MEng/MSc in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering. Professional registration (or working towards) with CIBSE, IET, or IMechE. At least 8 years of experience in a design-related engineering role. Sector experience in healthcare, commercial, leisure, or similar. A track record of managing projects with MEP values of £5-50M. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. Knowledge of digital tools and sustainability practices.
