They will work alongside our existing Training Coordinator and report to the Head of L&D, ensuring smooth operation of training activities and maintaining our commitment to excellence in service delivery. About the Role:

As the Training Administrator, they play a vital role within Lanes Group's Learning & Development department, supporting our utilities contracts including Severn Trent, Yorkshire Water, and Sapphire. Location:

Preston - Hybrid Hours:

Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours (with a 30 minute unpaid break) Salary:

£23809.50 The training administrator will serve as a key liaison between multiple stakeholders, maintaining clear communication across the business. Internally, they will work closely with the training coordinator, Director of HSEQ, and the Head of L&D, coordinating training activities and maintaining compliance standards. They’ll regularly engage with contract managers and operations teams to schedule training and ensure certification requirements are met. External stakeholder management will involve coordinating with our training suppliers to arrange sessions, processing invoices, and maintaining quality standards. They’ll also support auditors during compliance checks and maintain regular contact with water utilities clients regarding training matrices and certification updates. Key Stakeholders:

Training Administration

Schedule and coordinate training sessions Manage training calendar Maintain accurate training records Liaise with training suppliers Financial Management

Process accounts receivable Manage invoice payments Monitor training budget utilisation Operational Support

Resolve on-site issues Generate training reports Ensure audit compliance Support Training Coordinator Qualifications and Training

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) Health and Safety awareness certification Minimum 2 years' experience in training administration CIPD foundation certificate Proven track record in maintaining training records Experience in utilities or related industrial sector Experience with scheduling and coordination Previous exposure to ISO standards Strong attention to detail Knowledge of utility operations What we offer:
