Major Recruitment are currently seeking a quality controller for our client based in the heart of Huddersfield. The overall purpose of the position is to ensure any customer and internal complaints are dealt with in a timely manner and in line with the Company's quality standards and procedures. Duties include:

Be the first point of contact when dealing with any customer issues or queries. Creating rework job cards for internal and customer issues. Record and follow rework job cards. Fulfil the CAPA (corrective and preventative actions) requirements and investigate to the root cause of the problem. Liaise with Supervisors, Managers, and Directors. Read and understand drawings, job pack instructions, and customers' specifications. Complete weekly and monthly analysis for data collection. Complete Certificates of Conformity, if required. Complete customer's non-conformance reports, when required. Report any errors or major discrepancies to the SHEQ Manager / Technical Director immediately so corrective actions can be taken. Accountable for accepting responsibility for quality aspects and actively participating in quality efforts and supporting the Quality Policy. Discuss the inspection results with the SHEQ Manager / Technical Director. Responsible for maintaining compliance with the Quality Management System. Computer literacy is essential. Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment by following safety policies and procedures and by reporting any safety concerns. Experience in sheet metal manufacturing would be an advantage. Day shifts Monday to Friday. INDAC
