CAMHS within the London Borough of Havering are looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about ensuring there are robust and informative assessments in place for young people and their families. They must be committed to collaborative working across the Borough and utilising the skills, experience, and contributions of delivery partners across Health, Education, and Social Care to ensure our young people are well looked after and empowered to meet their potential. Main Duties of the Job

Responsible for the day-to-day organising, prioritising, and allocating of workloads in line with Key Performance Indicators. Work from Havering-based children sites for the duration of working hours. Oversee the demands of the Access and Assessment service, including referrals for mental health and neurodevelopment. Collaborate with service managers to advise on current demands, work allocation, challenges, and solutions. Promote the development of an effective team and productive working relationships throughout the Trust. Advise, encourage, and share knowledge utilising the latest research and practice development through literature and peer reviews. Provide patients and relatives with information and education, ensuring they have meaningful choices that promote dignity, independence, and quality of life. About Us

Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period unless currently partway through a probationary period or a bank member of staff. Starting with NELFT NELFT places great importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training, and equipment allocation. New starters will have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. High Cost Area Supplement - Outer London This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,551 to a maximum of £5,735 p.a. pro rata for part-time). Qualifications

NVQ level 2 or equivalent standard of literacy and numeracy. Postgraduate diploma or Undergraduate degree in Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, etc. Current NMC registration (RMN), HCPC, or Social Worker registration. Experience

At least 2 years post-qualification experience at B6 working within Child and Adolescent services. Experience offering clinical and management supervision to junior staff members. Experience working with children and families with mental health and behavioural issues in a CAMHS setting. Experience working with children and families who have experienced trauma. Experience consulting with safeguarding professionals and involvement in making safeguarding referrals. Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT). Knowledge

Knowledge around risk formulation. An awareness of NHS long-term plans, NSF, and clinical governance priorities. Knowledge of CYP-IAPT principles. Knowledge of I-Thrive principles. Skills

Delivering the I-Thrive principles. Understanding and usage of outcome ROMs. Managing a caseload and ability to work in difficult and challenging clinical settings. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
