About the Role: Our client, a leader in hygiene solutions, is seeking a Compliance Officer to join their small but dynamic compliance team. This multifaceted role involves ensuring products meet regulatory requirements across global markets while balancing business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain comprehensive Safety Data Sheets for products with multiple fragrances and variations. Design and update product labels in compliance with CLP and other global regulations. Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance in markets such as the EU, UK, US, and Thailand. Respond promptly to customer queries about product safety and compliance documentation. Stay updated on regulatory changes (e.g., endocrine disruptor classifications) and implement necessary updates. Manage cosmetic product regulations as a growing area of focus. Utilize compliance tools like Helix and project management software such as RICC to streamline workflows. Support carbon footprint reduction and sustainability initiatives. Assist with product registration processes and regulatory documentation for international markets. Engage in product testing, fragrance evaluations, and feedback sessions.

Ideal Candidate Profile: CLP expertise is essential, ideally within the Hygiene or Cosmetics industry. Experience in regulated sectors like food, paint, or medical devices is transferable. A degree in Chemistry or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory. Ability to interpret complex regulatory texts and apply them pragmatically. Strong organizational skills and comfort with data-heavy work. Adaptable and flexible in managing shifting priorities. Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with RICC and Helix software is a plus. Interest in sustainability and carbon footprint initiatives.

Work Arrangement & Benefits: Hybrid model: 3 days in the office (mandatory Mondays) and 2 remote days after a 3-month probation period. Opportunity to work in a growing company, shaping the role and department as the business expands.

Next Steps: Interviews are scheduled for the week of January 8th via Microsoft Teams. Quick onboarding process to accommodate the successful candidate.

If you're ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a growing industry, apply now to become our client's new Compliance Officer.
