We are seeking an experienced Oracle Essbase-Planning Consultant to join our client, a leading global insurance provider. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical financial systems and play a key role in developing and optimizing financial models and reporting solutions.
Required Skills/Experience The ideal candidate will have the following: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Essbase: ASO/BSO cube development, optimization, and maintenance. Advanced Scripting: Calculation scripts, MaxL queries, and MDX. Expertise in Oracle Planning: Application development, optimization, and maintenance. Deep understanding of financial concepts, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Proven experience in metadata management, partitions, and data loads. Ability to design, implement, and support complex financial models and reporting solutions. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve technical and business challenges. Key Responsibilities: Development, optimization, and maintenance of Oracle Essbase solutions, specifically ASO and BSO cubes. Design and implement complex calculation scripts, load rules, report scripts, and MDX/MaxL queries. Outline development, metadata management, and partitioning for optimized performance. Build and maintain Oracle Planning Applications, ensuring performance optimization and effective data integration. Collaborate with finance stakeholders to deliver robust budgeting, forecasting, planning, and financial reporting solutions. Design and support financial models, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across planning cycles.
