Richmond Hill Academy is seeking to recruit inspirational colleagues in a number of pivotal roles for the ongoing development of the academy. Grade: SO1 (SCP 23-25) £33,366 – £35,235 (pro rated depending on contract type) The successful candidate will be a highly professional, collaborative and skilled HR practitioner who will deal with HR-related queries quickly and efficiently and will drive high standards of professional conduct. The HR Advisor will play an essential role in promoting a positive workplace culture, driving employee engagement and ensuring effective HR practices are in place. Our new HR Advisor will: Manage the HR related casework for the academy including recruitment, absence management, performance management, disciplinaries and grievances. Have knowledge of relevant HR policy, procedure, employment law and good practice in relation to HR and offer guidance and support to the Principal and senior managers. Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills. Be minimum of a level 3 CIPD qualified with experience of HR case management. This role is anticipated to be based at Richmond Hill Academy initially, there may be opportunities to work across the wider trust over time. Business Manager

Grade: PO1 (SCP 27-30) £37,035 – £39,513 (pro rated depending on contract type) The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the academy’s operations run smoothly, efficiently, and sustainably, supporting the academy’s mission to provide the best possible educational experience for our pupils. The Business Manager will be responsible for overseeing all admin support, finance, premises maintenance, human resources and health and safety within the academy and will advise the Principal and Governing Body on the non-teaching activities of the academy. Our new Business Manager will: In conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team, lead the management of change within the academy. Be routinely involved in complex day to day issues and projects, so having excellent time management and organisational skills will be critical. Be able to work under pressure and meet conflicting deadlines. Prepare proposals and costings for projects, initiatives and grants for the Principal and Governing Body and attend whole Governing Body and committee meetings. Have management experience, including experience of having successfully led a team. Have a relevant level 4 qualification and be willing to work towards Institute of School Business Leaders qualification. Teaching Assistant

Level 1: A1-B1 (SCP 1- 6) £23,656- £25,183 Level 2: B3 (SCP 7-11) £25,584 – £27,269 (pro rated depending on contract type) Our teaching assistants are of great importance to our academy and support teaching colleagues in implementing a curriculum which is tailored to individual needs, enabling our pupils to reach their full potential. As a successful teaching assistant you will be dedicated, passionate and excited about enabling the learning and development of our pupils. Our new Teaching Assistants will: Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and activities, ensuring pupils understanding and engagement. Have good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff. A positive, nurturing attitude and a passion for supporting pupil’s learning and development. The ability to work constructively as part of a team. Experience with working with or caring for children of relevant age. Good numeracy and literacy skills.
