Job Advert Exciting opportunity for an experienced General Practitioner to join our team at the GP Urgent Care Hub, University Hospital Lewisham! Are you a passionate and dedicated General Practitioner looking for an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in patient care? One Health Lewisham (OHL) are looking for an enthusiastic GP to join our growing team on a permanent basis. In this fast-paced, rewarding environment, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality care to our diverse patient population. The GP will deliver care of the highest clinical standards, working in conjunction with the GP Urgent Care Hub Clinical Lead, and Service Manager, ensuring the overall performance of the GP Urgent Care Hub. Responsibilities will include: Providing triage where required Providing complete consultations with assessment, treatment and management of patients of all ages presenting with primary care problems at the GP Urgent Care Hub Recording full clinical notes using the GP Urgent Care Hub IT systems Completing all admin work relating to consultations Working as part of the wider clinical team, supporting Nurse Practitioners, HCAs, and GP colleagues and training Doctors Supporting and guiding streamers to make informed decisions that align with patient care and contractual obligations, providing assistance when needed and ensuring a balanced approach to both. Managing referrals of patients on to acute specialities, A&E or community services where required Supporting the redirection of patients to their registered GP To be successful in this role, you will require the following: Full registration with the GMC Appropriate qualification to practice medicine in the UK Completion of GP vocational training or equivalent (MRCGP) Registered on a ICB Principle or Performers List with no restrictions on practice as a GP 1+ years experience working in general practice Experience using the EMIS Clinical System About us: One Health Lewisham is the integrated community provider working across SEL, delivering a variety of innovative services for patients supporting practices and PCNs.
