The Curriculum Area EMES is seeking to appoint two full-time Lecturers to consolidate its 16-18 and adult ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) provision.

The applicants are required to have substantial experience of ESOL delivery across a range of levels. A proven track record of working with students of different ages and abilities, assessing their language level, preparing and reviewing their Individual Learning Plans, and completing all relevant enrolment, assessment, and progression-related documentation, is essential. Experience of preparing students for ESOL Skills for Life or English Functional Skills qualifications across a range of levels would be an advantage.

Applicants will be required to hold a full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or be willing to work towards obtaining one.

In addition, the candidates must hold an ESOL Level 4 Subject Specialist Qualification and a minimum of Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.

The successful applicants will be required to work across at least two ESOL programme areas.
