IPS Group are working with a market leading Insurance Company who are seeking a Senior Underwriter to join their well-established and growing Leeds office. This opening is a great opportunity for someone wanting to take a step up as a Commercial Underwriter dealing with a varied caseload of policies across a particular class of business. As Senior Underwriter, you will be working alongside a team of experienced professionals in this unique and rewarding role. You will be responsible for your own pen providing excellent service to key stakeholders/brokers handling renewals, mid-term adjustments, and referrals. You will be predominantly focusing on a combined product as well as other areas such as PI & D&O with premiums ranging from £5k up to £1 million. This is a great opportunity for someone really wanting to deal with more complex renewal cases. There will be a desire to visit brokers across the region, so if you are looking for something client-facing, then this may just be the role for you. In return, you will receive a competitive salary with a potential bonus of up to 25% as well as great benefits. You will also be supported in your insurance exams if you wish to do so.
