We are seeking to appoint an experienced manager to the role of Head of Services (Wales). This is an exciting career development opportunity.
The role is to:
Lead and monitor all aspects of the management of the designated adult services, including development and strategy; growing the number and range of services in your area. Support Service and Registered Managers in the effective management and quality of all services and in the compliance with care standards legislation and NAS ethos, policies and procedures. Take a lead role in the Project management of adult service developments.
We know you will bring with you extensive knowledge of the adult services directorate and the current issues facing our services. You will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, a track record of evaluating and monitoring service delivery, a passion and drive for improvement, and commercial acumen to ensure the stability of services within a challenging financial and people context.
Bringing a collaborative and engaging approach to managing services, you should equally be able to make difficult decisions, have difficult conversations, and be able to face challenges ensuring the needs of the people we support and our colleagues who provide that support are front and centre.
