If so, please read on… An opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer role starting in the New Year. The successful candidate will be working alongside our existing HR Officer and the HR Manager to provide a warm, friendly, and supportive service to all staff across our Federation of Schools, assisting with a wide range of HR functions. Weekly Hours : 37 hours per week Annual Weeks:

41 Weeks (Term time including INSET Days plus 2 weeks over the holiday periods) Salary : Actual Salary: £24,302 approx (FTE: £27,310 per annum) The role

Being part of the Vale Federation HR Team, you will be assisting with the day-to-day HR function. The main duties of the role involve aspects of recruitment such as collating applications, arranging interviews, and onboarding of new staff. Other tasks include assisting with staff absence management processes, and working alongside the HR Manager and HR Officer contributing to the smooth operation of the HR department. The candidate

The ideal candidate will have previously worked in an HR role; maybe with experience of working in a school or a similar setting, although this is not essential. You will need to be a good organiser and able to prioritise your own workload. It is essential that the postholder understands the need for confidentiality and discretion and has a working knowledge of GDPR, as you will be handling personal data relating to all staff across the schools. This post would be suitable for a person who has excellent attention to detail, is able to show focus and concentration in a busy office environment, and is willing to take responsibility for designated tasks.
