Are you an experienced product manager looking to do something meaningful in your next role? We are seeking a
digital product manager
to join our multidisciplinary LibraryOn team at the iconic British Library. This role focuses on developing a national platform to inspire more people to use public libraries and enhance access to their digital services. Libraries play a crucial role in our communities, and we aim to create a digital offering that reflects this, positioning libraries as modern and relevant. As the national digital ‘front door’ for public libraries, the LibraryOn website and brand has ambitious plans to host extensive content from libraries across the country, linking to inspiring events, reading, book catalogues, special collections, and an interactive map of libraries. Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of our roadmap. Scope new features and functionality. Work with partners around system integrations. Manage library data. Adopt an agile, user-centered approach to drive and inspire the product team. You will be proactive, collaborative, able to think strategically, effectively prioritize, and develop relationships with stakeholders. As one of the world’s great libraries, we preserve the nation’s intellectual memory for the future and make it available for research, inspiration, and enjoyment. We have over 170 million items in most known languages, with three million new items added each year. Our collections include manuscripts, maps, newspapers, magazines, prints and drawings, music scores, and patents. Benefits: Competitive salary.
