Key Responsibilities: Teach Computer Science to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring lessons are engaging, dynamic, and aligned with the national curriculum. Develop and deliver high-quality lesson plans that are well-structured and meet the needs of all learners. Design, implement, and assess student progress through regular tests, assignments, and projects. Provide constructive feedback on students' work to help them improve and achieve their best. Stay current with advancements in technology and integrate these into your teaching to enhance the learning experience. Maintain clear, open communication with students, parents, and colleagues, providing regular updates on student progress. Contribute to the wider school community and collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and school development. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A teaching qualification (QTS) and a degree in Computer Science or a closely related subject. Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary school level, preferably at KS3 and KS4. A solid understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to create lessons that are both engaging and challenging. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents. A commitment to ongoing professional development and improving teaching practices. A valid Enhanced DBS check and professional references. Why Join Us?
