Our client is a well-established and growing Group of companies. You will be based from the head office in Nottingham city centre, where free on-site parking will be provided. Description

You will be working as part of an extremely friendly and inclusive finance team of 9. You will be reporting into the Finance Manager and will be responsible for the accounts of 4 entities in the Group. You will receive a lot of support from the Finance Manager, and there are also 2 other Management Accountants who will be on hand to offer you help where needed. Your duties will be very varied and will include, but will not be limited to: Producing quarterly and monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary for 4 entities within the Group. Supporting with budgeting and forecasting. Balance sheet reconciliations, and investigating variances and areas of risk. Quarterly VAT returns. Supporting with year-end audit files and liaising with auditors. Inter-company reconciliations. Ad hoc analysis and projects. Multi-currency banking and reconciliations. Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders in the companies you are responsible for. Driving process improvements in finance. Profile

To be considered, you must: Have some experience of working in management accounts. Be competent with double entry bookkeeping. Have good Excel skills e.g., VLOOKUPs and pivot tables. Be able to work as part of a friendly, supportive, and positive team. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Job Offer

£30-40k (dependent upon experience). Initially an office-based role, but 1 day PW will be offered in the near future. Study support for AAT, CIMA, or ACCA if desired. Free fresh fruit in the office. Hours are 8:30-5 or 9-5:30 with 1 hour for lunch. Free on-site parking. 3% pension contribution. Opportunities to progress in the future, if desired. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. Work events.
