Reporting to the Head of Europe, our first Sales Manager, International will be responsible for capitalizing on Whatnot’s existing growth and building upon its foundation. Specific responsibilities include: Building and leading an International sales team as a strategic executive driving growth. Serving and effectively working closely alongside the executive team to lead and conduct day-to-day business. Owning and executing a sales strategy while collaborating with key peers across Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations to drive a holistic revenue function for sellers of all sizes across our core categories. Building a strong sales engine; improving sales operations and utilizing predictable, repeatable sales roadmaps, effectively translating targets into specific actions for all levels of sales management. Driving accountability and key growth outcomes related to the full sales life cycle. Harnessing data to proactively modify a go-to-market playbook to implement accountability in forecasts and determine bookings and activities required to generate pipeline and velocity to achieve results. Maintaining a deep understanding of customer use cases and product capabilities across B2B and B2C motions to understand and solve customer business problems. Driving operational excellence and accountability to achieve results, leveraging data, reporting, OKRs, and other best practices to ensure alignment at all levels. As our first Sales Manager, International you should have a minimum of 7+ years of sales experience, 4+ years in executive-level management, with experience building and leading high-performance sales teams in EMEA. Plus: A revenue leader with a track record of scaling a sales team in a high-growth environment. Proven experience as a sales leader in social commerce, two-sided marketplaces, and/or network effect consumer businesses. Expertise in operating businesses driven by marketplace dynamics; experience in managing both supply and demand. Experience in high-growth environments at scale and entrepreneurial, startup environments. Prior experience building, scaling, leading, and developing sales teams. Demonstrated track record of driving innovation and successfully adapting to changes in the industry or market. Operates with relentless speed and velocity, while maintaining a high sense of humility and integrity. Passionate about the collectibles space or has an interest in becoming passionate. Benefits
