Job Title: Medical Science Liaison - Aesthetics - West Location: Vancouver or Calgary Job Description The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) is a key internal expert, providing field-based scientific and clinical support to healthcare professionals to maintain a high level of medical, scientific, and technical knowledge and expertise in relation to Dermatology & Aesthetics. The MSL develops and maintains professional relationships with internal and external customers, including physicians and extenders, to provide comprehensive medical & scientific education support to Galderma initiatives in assigned areas of interest. The MSL will focus on providing healthcare practitioners, clinical investigators, professional organizations, and patient organizations the opportunity for scientific exchange and gathering insights to provide medical, scientific, and education support for prioritized services and products within Galderma’s portfolio. Key Responsibilities Provide scientific and technical support for key account managers and the field-based sales force through nonpromotional trainings, education, presentations, and other engagement. Develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and academic centers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information. Develop, maintain, and share an in-depth knowledge of Dermatology/Aesthetics. Develop and implement effective educational programs to increase scientific awareness of Galderma Integrated Dermatology products. Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to physicians, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders as needed. Identify, develop, and maintain contact with local, regional, and national key opinion leaders through internally approved field engagement plans. Provide field-based support to assist Medical Information in dealing with inquiries. Maintain knowledge and awareness of clinical research and publications in the Dermatology & Aesthetics fields. Act as an internal scientific expert for Galderma integrated dermatology products for internal and external audiences, including training external speakers and sales force training. Gather and generate actionable insights through attending congresses, engaging with external stakeholders, staying current in relevant scientific literature, tracking influencers on social media, preparing summaries, and presenting key perspectives to Galderma teams. Skills & Qualifications Medical, Pharmacy, Nursing or higher degree qualification (e.g., MSc, PhD) in life sciences field. Dermatology/Aesthetics experience (essential). 2 years experience in the medical pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical devices industry. Demonstrated experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at various levels and different audiences. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing environment.
