Monday-Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 PRS Recruitment Services are currently working with a leading national FM and Engineering company who are looking to hire a Technical Service Manager to work on one of the UK’s most iconic venues. Please see further details below… Key Accountabilities: Full accountability, responsibility, and ownership of the technical service delivery at the UK’s most iconic venues, providing line management to the engineering team while maintaining a proactive customer interface to ensure a high standard of service delivery and customer care. Implement plans and actions through leadership skills for the profitable operation and growth of contractual business within the organization through the provision of high-quality service to our customers. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure Mechanical and Electrical systems are maintained to a high standard and defects are swiftly identified and rectified with minimal impact to our customers. Lead the team in the provision of excellent service delivery by monitoring service performance, taking corrective action when necessary, and escalating to the Operations Manager as appropriate. Effectively coordinate available resources to achieve maintenance and reactive support, including training and guidance of engineering resources to enhance technical knowledge and capability. Produce extra work reports and quotations to ensure that system defects are notified to our customers with cost-effective solutions in place to bring systems and assets back into operation. Provide effective management and coordination of the engineering team to support Major Event preparation and post-Event activities, ensuring that system uptime is retained. Support the delivery of the Company Compliance Policy and statutory requirements for all systems and services within the service scope. Take a proactive approach to Health and Safety, monitoring and ensuring all corrective actions arising from Health and Safety audits are implemented within agreed timescales, and ensure all prescribed H&S systems, processes, and procedures are being utilized as intended by the business. Contribute to the development and performance improvement of the engineering team through regular engagement, implementation of training plans, and effective management. Provide management on-site as part of the wider management team during Major Events.
