Expect a range of catastrophic injury work including head and spinal injury cases as well as amputations and fatalities.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client’s esteemed large loss injury team in Manchester, specialising in complex Road Traffic Accidents (RTA) and Employers' Liability / Public Liability (EL/PL) cases.
Summary
Title: Associate Location: Manchester Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days in the office / 3 days WFH Reporting to: Partner Experience Required: Previous experience in catastrophic injury / large loss cases, preferably in RTA or EL/PL backgrounds. Mix of employers' liability, public liability, and motor work. Client base and nature of work Diverse clientele including 'tier 1' insurers and corporates from various sectors. Setting out case strategies to be discussed with senior fee earners Drafting all relevant documentation from witness statement to client reports Attending conferences with counsel, JSMs and other meetings as appropriate Opportunities for building your caseload and assisting partners on intricate matters, some exceeding £25 million in reserves. Broad range of PQE considered
Our client is investing heavily in their catastrophic injury / large loss team at present. We welcome candidates at all levels of Post-Qualified Experience (PQE). Depending on your level of PQE, you will either be assisting more experienced solicitors or building your own caseload of complex injury matters.
