is currently working with a leading employer in the Liverpool area who are recruiting a permanent Management Accountant for Group to join their team. This business has a strong ethos in the investment of their employees, encouraging the ongoing development of talent within their business. The reason for this opportunity is due to progression. The successful individual must have a ‘can do attitude’. Whilst this is a larger business the finance team is relatively lean at 10 and everyone is hands-on, and always willing to support and help in other areas if required. Production of the management accounts to P&L, balance sheet analysis and commentary Budgeting & forecasting (quarterly/yearly), working with financial models to manipulate data Finance business partnering with non-finance departmental managers with regard to their budgets Continuous process improvement, identifying more efficient ways to get the best out of the ERP system to aid better financial reporting Working closely with the operational teams looking at the raw data and analysing the numbers (trends/KPIs) Ad hoc project, analysis, and reporting work Skills/Experience
CIMA/ACCA/ACA Qualified Management Accountant Must be an experienced management accountant ideally from a larger Company background having worked within a similar sector (manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, engineering, transport) Strong systems experience essential Advanced Excel & conversant using ERP systems, with the desire to identify areas of improvements to enhance better reporting methods Excellent communication skills as this role will be working across the business with all different levels of people Daily Rate
