A Bit About the Job As an Accounts Senior, you will report directly to the Partners and Senior Management team. Your key duties will include, but are not limited to: Performing audit procedures from planning through to completion Preparing and reviewing accounts for Ltd companies, charities, LLPs, sole traders, and partnerships Preparing and reviewing monthly management accounts, including providing meaningful commentary Managing VAT compliance Handling corporate and personal tax compliance Staying up to date with technical knowledge in audit, accounts, and tax to proactively advise clients Working within set budgets and timescales Coaching and mentoring junior staff

A Bit About You The ideal candidate will have: ACCA/ICAS qualification or an equivalent qualification Experience working in the audit department of a general practice Strong core skills in audit and accounting Part-qualified candidates with some experience in the audit profession will also be considered A positive attitude and the ability to work independently and to strict deadlines Strong communication skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively Familiarity with client accounting software such as Sage Line 50 and audit software Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Knowledge of IRIS would be beneficial but not essential
