Evidence of managing complex services (incl. theatres, medical and surgical specialties) and leading capacity planning, performance management (incl. knowledge of local and national performance delivery frameworks), capital schemes and strategic plans. Evidence of leading the planning and delivery of clinical activity against contracted volumes and managing significant clinical budgets (£40m+ 100+ bed base). Evidence of handling complex workforce issues, including disciplinary processes and chairing panels. Evidence of understanding and improving clinical pathways (including issues affecting patient flow), and leading transformation projects. Evidence of working with acute/community providers and commissioners, understanding new commissioning landscapes. Evidence of leading business continuity processes. Evidence of managing procurement and non-pay related matters. Qualifications and Training
Educated to Masters level (ideally in healthcare management) or equivalent experience. Evidence of commitment to continuing professional and leadership development. Skills and Abilities
