We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Auditor to join our Technical team at our newly expanded fried manufacturing site in Milton Keynes!

Hours:

3 days on, 3 days off rotating shift pattern, 18:00-06:00

Salary:

£33,000 per annum

Purpose:

To ensure food safety of the product through the production line and supply chain, identifying any problems to ensure smooth flow of production.

Your Duties Will Include: Visually inspect and quality audit materials and packaging to agreed specifications, escalating any non-conformances Carry out and record calibration checks on metal detectors and other equipment to required procedures and frequencies Ensure all products are being produced to specification and within QAS standards Carry out and record manual weight checks of components and finished products on the packing lines Carry out and record modified atmosphere checks on packing lines Check and record that product labels are correct for the product being produced Carry out and record finished product checks for weight, packaging, seal integrity, print clarity, visual appearance, clean seals and date coding Inform a member of management of any problems with raw materials, machinery, equipment or finished product Daily hygiene inspection and knife integrity checks Conform to Health & Safety guidelines and demonstrate commitment to achieving the highest standards of hygiene and good manufacturing practice Experience:

Previous experience of working in a similar role in food manufacturing environment (chilled food advantageous) Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 HACCP Key Skills and Qualities:

Good understanding of BRC regulations and relevant legislation involving Food Safety Good organisational skills Strong communication skills, verbal and written Self-motivated Flexible attitude Positive attitude to challenges and change Benefits to Include:
