Broster Buchanan are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a Leicester Based Listed Organisation who are looking to recruit a Group Finance Manager, on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will be a key member of the Financial Reporting team, with responsibility for managing the delivery of our key monthly financial reporting and analysis for the Group.
This leading role is responsible for the preparation and reporting of financial performance of the Group, which includes: Manage the financial reporting team including allocation of work within deadlines and escalating issues to the senior finance team. Continued focus on development and automation of financial reporting processes to introduce greater accuracy, insight, and efficiencies. Managing and reviewing the delivery of the monthly consolidated management accounts of the Group and its subsidiaries to agreed timetables. Managing the delivery of the monthly financial analysis vs budgeted financial performance, including significant contribution to the monthly finance report under agreed timetables. Working with acquired businesses to support their financial integration and ensuring financial reporting is compliant with the Group’s finance manual, sharing best practices. Responsible for reviewing and developing accounting processes in key areas (by risk, sensitivity, or value). Manage the preparation of the annual budget and monthly reforecasts. Manage the delivery of information to internal and external audit teams in their reviews of our financial reporting and related processes. Responsibility for coaching and mentoring of the financial reporting team, ensuring that succession planning and development for the team is identified and implemented. The post holder will support key projects as we work towards implementation of new systems, new financial models, new processes, and new ways of working.
The successful Candidate will be an ACA or ACCA Qualified individual with extensive financial reporting (IFRS) experience from within a large group company. They will be a proactive leader who has exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence across all areas of the business.
Our Client is offering a salary of £70,000 - £80,000 (Pro-Rata for 6 Month FTC)
