We are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join a team of financial planners. The Role This will involve providing technical and research support to financial planners in their delivery of advice to clients. The support will include completing research and analysis, preparing suitability letters and other paraplanning duties. The role is primarily remote, with a preference for the candidate to attend occasional in-person meetings in Cheltenham (approximately once a month). While this is our ideal scenario, we are open to candidates who cannot commit to monthly travel to Cheltenham. Main Duties Collaborate with Financial Planners to address client needs and inquiries, ensuring timely responses aligned with TCF standards. Obtain and analyse technical information from providers. Conduct in-depth technical research and provide insightful analysis. Prepare detailed and accurate cash flow plans tailored to client objectives. Draft suitability reports with precision and a strong focus on technical accuracy. Manage new business applications and oversee processes through to completion. Skills & Experience Diploma-qualified. At least 2-3 years of paraplanning experience in a similar role within an Independent Financial Adviser firm. Comprehensive technical knowledge across various financial planning areas. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Salary & Benefits Salary £35,000 to £45,000 basic, negotiable depending on experience and qualifications with OTE of £45,000 to £50,000. Benefits package to be negotiated. Ideally, we are seeking a full-time candidate (40 hours). However, we are open to considering part-time arrangements, with a minimum of 20-30 hours per week.
