Barrow Hill Veterinary Centre is a group of small animal practices located in Kent. You will be mainly based at our Ashford site but will eventually be required to work at our other sites. Ashford is a central location with excellent rail, road, air, and sea links. It has direct rail links to London and Paris, and is close to both Gatwick and Heathrow airports. Ashford is surrounded by picturesque villages and is the largest and most rural borough in Kent. The practice has a caring and supportive culture and there is plenty of opportunity to learn from both senior and visiting colleagues. We have a great team of 9 Vets, 12 RVNs, 1 student VN, 1 Animal Care Assistant and a wonderful administrative team. Our main, purpose-built centre on Barrow Hill, is Ashford's premier centre, inspected by the RCVS and awarded its highest classification for a veterinary practice. Practice facilities and equipment include digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, on site CT scanner, in-house lab machines and much more. Step into a supportive start
40 hours per week. 10 hour shifts of either 8am – 6:30pm, 9am – 7:30pm or 10am – 8:30pm. You will be part of our Saturday rota working 2 in 7 Saturdays. No OOH or bank holidays to allow a great work life balance. You will be assigned a dedicated mentor and have weekly meetings. We encourage the sharing of CPD and best practice and hold regular M&M meetings to ensure that we are delivering the best care for both our patients and clients.
