The Job The Content Marketing Specialist exists to support the Content Marketing Strategy Lead to maximise easyJet’s reach and impact across owned and organic channels, with a core focus on social media (specifically Instagram, TikTok and Facebook). You will create content for easyJet’s social media channels, to inspire travel and drive demand, measure, optimise, analyse and report on social media content, aligned to broader marketing and business KPIs. Ensure content marketing plans and calendars are well documented, with clear performance forecasts, provide creative consultancy to regional Content Marketing Specialists using agreed best practice and playbooks and work closely with local marketing teams to understand commercial priorities, and translate them into impactful content franchises. What you will be doing Create and own the central documentation that provides a consolidated view of content marketing plans. Develop and deliver epic content for our social media channels – both independently and in partnership with our social media agency through effective briefing and relationship management. Ensure cybersecurity best practice is maintained with account and password management for social media channels. Provide content creation support to Content Marketing Specialists in regional teams and support ad-hoc content requests and needs for markets without dedicated Content Marketing Specialists. Requirements of the Role What you will need to do this role You will be a subject matter expert in social media – from planning and creation to deployment and measurement. Confident with both creativity and data analytics – our social media programme is focused on delivering against a number of core metrics, and analysing performance against them and establishing forecasts is an essential part of this role. You will understand and have experience of using other owned and organic channels including CRM, web and app copy is desirable along with experience of shooting/creating social-first content, and copywriting. You will also need to be organised with exceptional attention to detail as well as being a team player. The role will require occasional travel.
