This senior role will be focused on our healthcare business and supporting its growth in a changing environment. Role Purpose Our aim as a Corporate Affairs function is to support business growth, and within public affairs, our aim is to create optimal policy conditions to drive that growth in a responsible, sustainable way. The team is output focused, linking its plans and deliverables to the business’s wider growth strategy. It is important that this focus is retained, with the role PA plays in both business growth and future decision making, kept front of mind. Key Responsibilities

Strategy:

Lead the development and execution of the Healthcare Public Affairs strategy. This means deeply understanding the UK health system, integrating with our healthcare business, and collaborating across the company to identify deliverables that will foster growth. Representation:

To effectively represent the company externally with minimal support, to confidently advocate for the team internally, provide strategic guidance across all levels of the business, and regularly deliver clear and confident presentations, occasionally with little advance notice. Delivery:

We are an output focused team. This means being able to plan for and deliver concrete outputs that can drive growth and/or protect the business. It is also important that the business receives regular, well-sourced information on the direction of health policy to help drive strategy. Leadership:

To support business in the development of the wider GS team, as well as your peers, particularly in Corporate Affairs and wider advocacy skills. About You

8+ years working in public affairs ideally. Strong understanding of UK policy processes and engagement points. Experience of working within the health sector is advantageous but not essential. Clear understanding of why developing internal and external networks is important to public affairs and a core part of any PA role. A developed understanding of business strategy and the commercial role public affairs plays. Experience of working within a large corporate organisation. Exceptional presentation and communication skills and the ability to do so at short notice where required. A team player with a collaborative and development-focused mindset. Ability to manage complexity, ambiguity and to independently find a route to support the business. Experience working with external agencies to deliver against key performance indicators. Please note the salary on offer for this role is between £70,000 - £80,000 + bonus. About Danone
