This newly created position supports a highly experienced team of Reinsurance technical oversight managers who evaluate and impact the management of reinsurance across the Lloyd’s market to drive best practice and high performance. You will get the opportunity to: Support the technical validation, evaluation, and analysis of syndicate-level outwards reinsurance information. Support specific Outwards Reinsurance discussions and reviews with managing agents regarding the technical assessment of RI arrangements & management effectiveness. Evaluate and present data and records to support reinsurance oversight under Lloyd’s Principles Based Oversight framework. Support the evaluation of the Outwards Reinsurance elements of Syndicate Business Forecasts and Syndicate Capital Requirements. Support the handling of technical referrals relating to the suitability of reinsurance arrangements and counterparties. Assist the team with research, trend analysis, and validation of team reports and presentations relating to reinsurance. Engage with colleagues and external stakeholders on reinsurance matters. Support the technical evaluation of reinsurance counterparties. Provide technical input to the enhancement of the data and risk analysis reporting and evaluation tools used within the team. Where applicable, proactively contribute to wider Lloyd’s projects and business objectives. The uniqueness of this role is the exposure to the market’s many different models for structuring and applying reinsurance; there is so much to learn and the scope to evolve and grow in this position. Preference will be given to candidates that already have some experience/knowledge in a Reinsurance-related position.
