HEAD OF ENGINEERING | CONTRACT | REMOTE: UK &EUROPE | 6-9 months
Search 5.0 are proud to be partnering with an incredible B2B SAAS company in Europe who are seeking a Head of Engineering (contractor) to lead technical strategy and oversee day-to-day engineering operations. This role involves ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of theirsoftware, while managing teams and collaborating across departments to meet business goals.
Responsibilities
Define and execute technical strategy in alignment with business objectives.
Lead and motivate engineering teams to deliver high-quality products.
Manage team structure, hiring, and onboarding processes.
Implement agile workflows and maintain engineering standards.
Oversee budgets, resources, and timelines.
Collaborate with QA, Product, and DevOps to optimise product quality and infrastructure.
Stay informed on emerging technologies for strategic advantage.
Requirements
Proven leadership experience (5+ years in roles like Director of Engineering).
Must have B2B SAAS experience
Advanced expertise in .NET, C#, Azure, and QA processes.
Strong grasp of cloud platforms, programming, and Agile methodologies.
Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Contract Information:
6 - 9 months
Daily rate upon request
Remote throughout UK & Europe
