Vice President of Software R&D

to lead our global engineering team and shape the future of our software development strategy. This is a highly strategic and technical role, ideal for an experienced leader passionate about innovation, technology, and driving business success in fast-evolving industries. Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Strategy

Develop and implement a visionary R&D strategy aligned with the company's objectives. Lead and mentor a global engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence. Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, and Support to ensure seamless integration of engineering initiatives across all business functions. Product Development and Innovation

Oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of enterprise-level software products, ensuring timely and high-quality releases. Drive product innovation by adopting cutting-edge technologies, tools, and processes to enhance scalability, security, performance, and sustainability. Champion modern development practices such as Agile, DevOps, and automation to improve delivery efficiency. Lead research initiatives to identify opportunities for customers to maximize value through advanced solutions. Team Building and Development

Build and scale a high-performing global R&D organization by attracting and retaining top talent. Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that encourages creativity, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration. Identify and address skill gaps within the team, investing in professional development and learning programs. Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Experience :

Proven experience in software development and engineering leadership, including senior management or executive roles. Proven experience leading global teams in the development of complex, enterprise-level software solutions.

Technical Expertise :

Strong understanding of modern software architecture, cloud computing (AWS), and SaaS delivery models (e.g., multi-tenancy, security best practices). Deep familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud-native development.

Industry Knowledge : Experience in Life Sciences, Pharma, or related industries is a significant advantage. Leadership Skills :

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels. Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing, globally distributed teams.
