Job Overview The Head of Community Resilience will be the senior manager accountable for the effective and supportive leadership, management and development of the community Resilience teams. The post holder will be responsible for improving performance and efficiency of the department which includes volunteers and co-responders and improving customer satisfaction through the implementation of effective methods and strategies. You will have a flexible approach to working hours due to the nature of the volunteer workforce. You will ensure the department is well coordinated and productive. The goal is to augment the efficiency of the department to facilitate accelerated development and long-term success. Main duties of the job The CRT also ensure that any new Public Access Defibrillators are placed in the right position to best improve patient outcomes using Trust activity data to provide this information. Key Departmental Responsibilities Include A transparent, consistent and fair recruitment and induction process Channels for effective communication between operational staff, management and volunteers Training and re-certification programmes, including governance to enable volunteers to maintain their skill sets. Support through clinical supervision, engagement and welfare throughout their tenure with the Trust Appropriate utilisation, to the level of their scope of practice Maintenance of accurate records, in keeping with the principles of information governance, which support evaluation Development and implementation of policies and procedures to achieve consistency in practice throughout the Trust. Please note that the salary range noted on the vacancy is in line with agenda for change (AFC) pay scales. Following the revision of current national legislation (Vaccine as a Condition of Deployment), the Trust has reviewed our requirements relating to staff uptake of the SARS-COV-2 (COVID-19) vaccination. Going forward, for patient facing positions, we strongly recommend that new starters will be appropriately vaccinated unless medically exempt in order to offer greater protection against exposure to the virus for front line staff.
