Operating in a mature, agile environment, our SCRUM teams collaborate closely with customers to tackle some of the most complex digital challenges facing the world today. The Role Operate within the Engineering function, providing analysis and design skills. The role will involve taking ownership of the definition and delivery of user requirements for one or more significant customer projects. It will also require close collaboration with project colleagues and end customers to ensure the final deliveries are fit for their intended purpose. Role & Responsibilities: Assess, plan, manage, and deliver user requirements within Agile frameworks. Conduct feasibility analysis, define project scope, and work with the project management team to prioritize deliverables and negotiate product functionalities. Elicit requirements using techniques such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and task and workflow analysis. Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, break down high-level information into details, and abstract from low-level data to form a general understanding. Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to assess information needs and functional requirements, documenting these in suitable artifacts (e.g., functional requirements, Use Cases, GUI designs, screen and interface designs). Utilize strong analytical and product management skills to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements. Serve as the liaison between the customer community and the project delivery team. Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision, analyzing trade-offs between usability and performance needs. Actively participate in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Functionality Testing. Desirable Skills/Experience: Formal training and demonstrable experience in functional, data, or business analysis roles, modeling business processes, end-states, and solution implementations. Experience with relevant tools, such as DOORS and the Atlassian suite. Strong understanding of iterative and time-boxed development methods, with the ability to compare and contrast these with waterfall processes. Ability to articulate the value of these methods and techniques to enhance team/enterprise value (e.g., using Burndown charts, handling bugs, etc.). Practical experience in the fundamentals of software development processes and procedures. Strong delivery-focused mindset with a proven track record of success. Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. High business acumen with the ability to quickly understand customer needs and deliver effective solutions. If you're interested in this opportunity then please reach out to me!
