We are recruiting a Head of Asset Management for our client, a small/medium Housing Association based in South Yorkshire. The postholder will be responsible for the leadership, development and delivery of the Asset Management Strategy, ensuring all homes are safe, of a high quality, energy efficient and generate value for money. This includes leading on all aspects of asset management, including the implementation and delivery of an effective, value for money and customer focused asset management service for all areas including out of hours, responsive and day to day, cyclical, major and planned works, compliance and energy efficiency, ensuring all relevant legislation and guidance is adhered to at all times. This key individual will also be responsible for delivering a high quality repairs, reinvestment and compliance service to the organisation’s homes and delivering repairs and maintenance outcomes for tenants and leaseholders. The Head of Asset Management will work as part of the Senior Leadership Team to successfully implement organisational strategies, identify and mitigate risk and ensure a high level of customer focused performance across the organisation. The successful candidate will bring a blend of skills, competencies and qualifications including: Professional qualification in Building Surveying or Construction Management, or significant relevant experience. Skills and experience in one or more of the delivery of asset management, repairs & maintenance and/or asset compliance. Detailed knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements in asset management. The rewards package comprises an attractive salary of ca. £60,000 plus 28 days annual leave (+ bank holidays), medicare, generous pension, life assurance and a 35 hour (hybrid) working week.
